Rental policy highlights

• Lawns are required: Cannot install on hard ground (river rock, artificial turf, gravel, bark mulch, xeriscaping). Wooden stand upgrade ($$) available if no lawn.

• Payment: Required at booking to confirm reservation.

• Safety: Please do not play on or around the greeting.

• Lawn care: Water your lawn for a minimum of 30 full minutes the morning of your scheduled greeting (except winter/early spring).

• Sign handling: Do not remove or move any signs, including our advertising sign. Please remove dog poop from the display area.

• Damages: Negligent damage or loss of signs (dogs, moving, weed eaters, etc.) may result in an invoice for replacements. Do not dispose of any signs.

• Balloons: Do not keep balloons on or near the sign; popping balloons can damage signs.

• Lawn services: Cancel lawn services while the greeting is installed.

• Liability: Surprise Garden Greetings and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any personal injury or property damage that may occur by the placement of our signs.

Refund policy

• Cancellations: If you must cancel, you can choose a 1/2 refund or leave the full amount on credit for a future booking.

• Inclement weather: In the event of lightning/thunderstorms, snowstorms, heavy rain, or high winds preventing setup, you will receive a full refund.

• No refunds will be given: For incorrect delivery address; if the recipient of a gifted greeting asks us to remove it; if we are denied access to a gated community; if hard ground prevents setup; if animals prevent delivery; if high winds or severe weather require early removal; or for any circumstances out of our control.

Privacy policy

Surprise Garden Greetings is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your personal information. Any information we gather on this website is strictly for our use and is not shared with any other entity, public or private, for any reason. We will not sell or give away any lists or other data that we may retain and we do not purchase such information from other sources.

We respect the privacy of personal email accounts and we store your email addresses just as securely as other personal information. We will not send you unwanted email messages or junk mail, and your details will not be passed to any organization beyond Surprise Garden Greetings, without your permission. However, we will use email to inform you about promotional offers; to maintain your user account; to keep track of your order history; to respond to customer support inquiries and to tell you about changes to our website. If you do not want to be kept informed in this way by email, please email us, we would be happy to remove you.

Surprise Garden Greetings reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken of the installed sign, without the expressed written permission of the client. Surprise Garden Greetings may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used including but not limited to: brochures, social media, books, newspapers, magazines, websites, etc. To ensure the privacy of individuals, images will not be identified using full names, address or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian. If you do not wish to have the image recorded for distribution you should make your wishes known to Surprise Garden Greetings in writing to: surprisegardengreetings@gmail.com. By booking this service or by failing to notify Surprise Garden Greetings, in writing, your desire to not have your photograph used you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify Surprise Garden Greetings from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness. Any person or organization not affiliated with Surprise Garden Greetings may not use, copy, alter or modify photographs, graphics, videography or other, similar reproductions or recordings without advance written permission.

Hazardous conditions

Hazardous weather conditions may make it impossible to deliver Surprise Garden Greetings. Delivery will be rescheduled, or a full refund will be issued.

Agreement

By placing an order/booking with Surprise Garden Greetings, you agree to all policies stated above.
